Novice
Melt Metals
Melt Metals into their molten forms using as little as a fingertip.
Uses:
Concentrating intense amounts of heat into one's hands, a Kwillian can melt metals into their molten forms! Useful as a quicker alternative to standard crucibles and furnaces, no need for those ridiculous wait times waiting for a crucible to heat up anymore! Just heat up those hands and you're good to go!
Limitations:
Beginners starting out learning this ability find it hard to heat their hands up to the proper temperatures for properly melting metals. It takes quite a bit of focus and concentration to push one's magic to the correct temperature of whatever metal they are trying to melt. Likewise, all metals have different temperatures required to melt them, so beginners have to start themselves out small with metals like lead and copper before properly working themselves up!
Manipulate Molten Metal
Manipulate Molten Metals like a water Kwillian does water, weaving it through the air.
Uses:
Once one masters melting metal, the obvious follow-up is controlling it! Like Water-aligned Kwillian can manipulate water, Molten Kwillians can swirl and weave molten metals through the air to their heart's desire! Careful not to hit another Kwill with it though, it's hot!
Limitations:
Kwillian's can find some metals harder to manipulate than others, all based on the weight of whatever metal they're trying to control. Likewise, as the metal solidifies over time, it becomes more difficult for beginner Kwillians to continue controlling it. Masters of this can find themselves able to continually keep the metal hot enough to stay molten while manipulating it with enough concentration!
Detect Metals
Reach out around you and sense pure and impure metals in the area through any surface.
Uses:
Closing your eyes and focusing your magic around you, a Kwillian can sense metal in the area through any surface, both pure and impure! Useful for if you just happened to lose that ingot you were wanting to use, or maybe even used to sense if a shop has the metals you need before you even go inside!
Limitations:
This ability has a very limited radius, even with the max amount of concentration one can muster. Beginners with this ability tend to have to be in the same room as metal in order to actually detect it, though with practice a Kwillian can sense metal from as far as a few buildings away!
Acolyte
Heat Gloves
Turn your hands completely heat immune, allowing one to shape molten metals with their hands, or even dip their hands into magma.
Uses:
Focusing magic into one's hands, a Molten Kwillian can turn their hands completely heat immune! Useful to be able to shape molten metals to their heart's desire with just their hands, or even fully dipping their hands directly into lava with no reaction whatsoever!
Limitations:
The heat immunity is only able to be focused in a Kwillian's hands, so, unfortunately, no full body heat immunity, you're no fire Kwillian after all. Not to mention this ability takes large amounts of concentration to actually keep the protective magical coating on for long periods of time, so beginners have a hard time holding this magic for longer than usually about Five or so minutes tops.
Manipulate Soft Metals
Manipulate un-melted soft metals such as Gold, Copper, and Tin with your magic, shaping them to your will.
Uses:
With intense concentration, a Kwillian can manipulate unmelted soft metals with their magic, shaping them to their will! The easiest way to get those perfect shapes in your gold metalwork, no working around pesky melted metal required! Best used with metals such as Gold, Copper, Tin, Lead, etc.
Limitations:
Manipulating unmelted metals requires tons of focus and concentration! This one is quite a difficult one for beginners to master, but definitely worth it in the end. Similar to melting said metals, some metal is definitely easier to manipulate than others! A beginner just has to try it out, figure out what works best with them and work up from there to mastery! As well, impure metals tend to be harder to work with than pure metals!
Magnetize
Becoming a walking magnet and attract magnetic metals around you to your body!
Uses:
Use your magic to become a walking magnet! You'll attract all kinds of magnetic metals around you, straight to your body. Good for when you're just a little too lazy to get up and grab that metal ingot you need for your project yourself!
Limitations:

Professional
Detect Gemstones
Use your magic to reach out and find gemstones in the area, most effective on ones sitting in metal deposits.
Uses:
A Molten Kwillian isn't just able to sense metals in the area with their magic, they can sense gemstones too! It's a nice little treat when out ore mining to find some. Plus, it can even be helpful for ore mining itself, as gemstones are easiest found sitting in or near metal deposits!
Limitations:
This one is arguably one of the hardest for a Molten Kwillian to master, as gemstones aren't exactly their forte! It takes so much concentration for beginners to even begin to sense gemstones, even ones super close to their radius and sitting on metal deposits, that it tends to not even be useful to a Kwillian until they've really mastered it. And, like all detection magic, it has a rather small radius depending on a Kwillian's level of mastery!
Manipulate Hard Metals
Manpilate unmelted hard metals such as Steel, Tungsten, Iron, Titanium, and more, shaping them to your will.
Uses:
No more need for any kind of furnace or dealing with molten metal, the world (er… metal) is your oyster with this ability! Manipulate all kinds of unmelted hard metals, like Steel, Titanium, etc. and shape them to your will. While mastering this ability is difficult, it's definitely one that's worth the experience.
Limitations:
Similar to manipulating soft metals, hard metals also require tons of focus and concentration, if not more! As well, not all metals are equal, so some are harder to manipulate than others! Individuals just need to figure out what metal is easiest for them to work with, and go from there to mastery!
Metal Maw
Make your jaw and teeth as hard as metal, allowing you to bite through materials one would typically break their jaw on.
Uses:
With magic concentrated straight to one's jaws, a Kwillian can solidify their jaw and teeth as hard as metal! This allows them to have an incredibly powerful bite, allowing them to bite through materials a normal Kwillian would typically break their jaw on! It also counts as a great weapon for a fight, if you're in a pinch and able to get close enough for a bite. It tends to be a quick fight-ender!
Limitations:
Like most magic, this ability requires quite a bit of concentration, especially to be able to hold this strength for a long period of time. It's especially not recommended for any Kwillian learning this ability to ever attempt using it in a fight, at least until they've mastered this ability enough to hold it for a long period of time even with distractions. As a side note, just because you can bite through the materials doesn't mean you can eat it! Don't think you'd fare well with that…
