Concentrating their magic into their hands and rubbing them together, a Kwillian is able to create a static charge, which will be released on any other surface that they come into contact with. Perhaps a Kwillian could use this ability to give another Kwill a little shock.
Static Charge requires the action of rubbing the user's hands together or else they will be unable to create the electric charge. The ability also requires a physical connection between the user and any other object to release the static charge.
Detect whether or not a metal, object, or other Kwillian is magnetic or not.
Using Detect Magnetism allows a Kwillian to identify if a variety of items such as metals, objects, or other Kwillians are magnetic or not. The user will feel a pull to any object, metal, or Kwillian that is magnetic and feel nothing if they are not.
This ability is only able to be used on one object at a time. A proficient user has the ability to detect two objects at once, but never more. Detect Magnetism requires the Kwillian to be in the area of said objects. Meaning, the ability can not be used on an object that is further than five feet away from the user.
Create Electricity from nothing, charging any machines that require Electricity Magic, or giving others a ‘shocking' surprise.
Concentrating their magic into the palms of their hands, a Kwillian with the Create Electricity ability now has the capability to create electricity out of thin air! This can come in handy for charging any machines that require electricity magic to operate or by surprising someone with quite a “shock”.
Arguably the hardest novice ability as a Kwillian is using their magic to create electricity out of nothing. A beginner will only be able to conjure a small bit of electricity compared to an expert with the ability who would be able to conjure a larger amount. It is also advised to not use this ability out in the rain or by any bodies of water unless you want to run the risk of giving yourself an electric shock or electrocuting someone or something else.
Summon a bolt of lightning from your fingertips, striking your enemies down with the wrath of the sky.
Directing their magic through their body and out through their fingertips, a Kwillian with the Lightning Strike abilities is able to summon a bolt of lightning. With just a cast of their hands, the user is able to strike their enemies down with the sky's fury.
Lightning Strike is undoubtedly the hardest of the acolyte abilities for a Kwillian to learn. A beginner should practice summoning smaller bolts as it will be a lot easier and not cause as much damage if something were to go wrong. This ability can not cause another to die, but it can cause great harm, so the user better be prepared for the consequences.
Charge your senses with your magic, allowing you to hear, see, and smell more, just don't get overwhelmed.
By channeling their magic into their nervous system, a Kwillian is able to charge and intensify their senses. Allowing them to hear, see, and smell more than the average Kwill. Handy for a variety of situations including, dangerous encounters, spying on friends, or finding the best place to eat.
As a novice, it's recommended to focus on heightening a singular sense rather than them all at once because it can be extremely overwhelming. With the proper training, a Kwillian will be able to not only enhance all of their senses at one time, but also adjust how much their senses are enhanced. This ability only lasts a maximum of an hour and a minimum of 5 minutes. The Kwillian who used this ability will need to wait at least an hour before using it again, lest they want to be overloaded.
Create a ball of lightning in your hands and throw it at a target, whether that be an object or an opponent.
Concentrating their magic into the palms of their hands, a Kwillian is able to create and form a ball of lighting. Once the ball is created the user may expel their electrocuting orb at an opponent or object of their choosing.
Depending on the user's skill level will determine just how powerful of an orb they can muster and control. An advanced user would be able to create and be in control of a bigger lighting ball than a novice. No user is able to conjure a ball of lighting that is bigger than their head.
Inhale and breathe out bolts of lightning, a deadly ability for those who master it.
Taking a deep breath in and focusing their magic into their lungs, a Kwillian is able to breathe out multiple bolts of lighting. When first learning this ability, a Kwillian may only be able to create small bolts, while an advanced learner is able to spew large quantities of lighting bolts.
Arguably the most difficult ability for an electricity Kwillian to learn and master. For those able to master this ability, it can be quite deadly to those around them. It is deemed unwise for novices to use Breathe Lighting in the presence of others, especially if they are unable to control the lighting.
Conduct electricity of any type through one hand or leg and out the other without suffering any side effects.
The Conduct ability allows the user to attract any type of electricity through one of their arms or legs and expelling it out of the other limb without suffering any side effects. With this ability it allows a Kwillian to act like a conductor of sorts, being able to direct a variety of forms of electricity in and out of their bodies.
In order to use this ability, the user must have both feet placed firmly on the ground. If the Kwillian does not have both of their feet planted on the floor, there's a chance of the electricity's travel being disrupted and causing it to take longer to escape their body.
Absorb and dispel an electrical charge, stopping a lightning strike in its tracks, or shaking off blows from another Electricity Kwillian.
Dispel Charge allows an Electricity Kwillian to not only absorb an electrical charge, but also dispel it as well! Handy for halting a lightning strike in its path or stopping a blow from another Electricity Kwillian. Perhaps even turning the attack back onto the user if they so wish.
A Kwillian who wishes to use this spell must have some practice with the Conduct ability. They must also have a great deal of stamina as this ability will drain its user if used multiple times in one sitting. Depending on the intensity of the electrical charge, the user may have to focus quite a bit in order to absorb and dispel it properly.
