Using the power of wind your Kwillian can speed up their steps and go sprinting away.
This ability lets your Kwillian put a tailwind behind them, allowing them to move faster and giving them quite the speed boost! This is especially useful if you feel like cheating in races or if you need to outrun something nasty you encountered in the wild!
This magic acts as a boost to a Kwillian's speed, and it relies heavily on how well a Kwillian can control their magic. Even Kwillian who have mastered their elements or are born with excess magic find it hard to run faster then their body can handle. Tailwind can especially exhausting compared to some other abilities; so user beware.
Creating small unnatural wind formations, right from your fingertips.
Typically most easily learned after learning Tailwind, Create Breeze allows the Kwillian using the ability to create small wind currents. Many Kwillian use this ability to blow out candles, or stir their friends hair with a breeze!
This ability only creates a breeze, and one that's difficult to aim too! It helps to have fine motor control in your fingers and line of sight with the object you're trying to stir with the breeze. These breezes are also hard to maintain, and it often helps if the Kwillian continuously moves their arms if they wish to maintain a breeze.
Open up your ears to hear clearly over long distances.
This ability is useful when attempting to communicate with friends over long distances, or attempting to find someone lost somewhere! More awareness of your surroundings is always a plus, as this ability helps Kwillian stay vigilant and pick up sounds around them more easily!
Beginners using this ability find it hard to hear anything over one hundred yards away, and even masters of the ability can barely hear anything over one hundred and fifty! The further away out of range a sound is, the less likely a Kwillian using this ability will be able to hear it clearly. Singling out noises in a particularly noisy area, such as attempting to pick out voices in a crowd, is difficult for beginners, and can lead to becoming overwhelmed quite easily.
Harness the power of air and shake the tree's with your rage.
These wind gusts are strong, strong enough to shake the leaves in trees, make bushes bow, and even knock over your smaller friends (or a Kwilling or two)! This ability is best learned on days where there are light breezes are occurring where Kwillian can manipulate those breezes into proper gusts! Put out campfires, torches, or fill a boat's sail with the power of wind!
These are controlled, small, short gusts of wind! Most beginners struggle to maintain anything more then a couple of minutes of sustained wind gusts. This ability is hard to control in enclosed spaces, as there's less area to move the wind around and plenty of things to accidentally knock over.
Dampen or boost the sounds you hear around you.
This ability is typically learned easiest by Kwillian with larger or more sensitive ears, who are better at detecting shifts in volume! This ability can be used to boost the voices of those around you, or alternatively mute them if you don't want to hear them talk. This can even be used to manipulate frequencies to blow out glass objects, or shake things to pieces!
Kwillian who are beginners to this ability may have trouble manipulating noise that's more than ten to fifteen feet away. Even masters of this ability can't exceed a fifty-foot radius when using this ability, so be careful! It's also incredibly difficult to control multiple sounds at a time or try to mute one noise while increasing another, even for masters of the ability.
Use the power of air to suction things closer to you.
The ability to create a vacuum of air is of course great for cleaning up dust from the house in a cinch or vacuuming up all of the leaves in the yard. This ability can also be used to get items unstuck from where they're wedged, never reach into a scary dark gap between furniture again!
Vacuums are only able to be used directionally. This ability isn't a blackhole, meaning Kwillian can't just uproot the landscape around them or pull things towards themselves from all directions. This ability is hard to maintain, the longer a Kwillian tries to sustain the vacuum the weaker it'll become. It's also important to remember this ability can only pull small items, think no more then five or so pounds, towards the user.
Use the power of wind to keep off the ground.
This ability allows your Kwillian to levitate into the air (more or less)! This ability is especially useful for Kwillian who need to reach something in a high place, such as the top shelf, or something that's gotten stuck in a tree. This ability can also be used to slow a fall, preventing the worst of injuries that can result from a fall from large heights!
Updraft is, surprisingly, one of the hardest abilities to learn! Despite being seemingly an upgrade from an air Kwillians baby magic, Updraft is taxing and hard to master. Kwillian who want to master this ability must have emotional control, capable of staying focused and keeping their mind clear and body relaxed.
Punch a hole with the power of concussive air.
Concussive Wind is a favorite amongst Air Affinity Kwillian, and is much of the reason most Air Kwillian pursue properly learning their magic! Concussive Wind is capable of punching holes in soft substances such as mud, clay, etc., and capable of uprooting small plants! Many use this ability to knock over others in games of "wind tag", a favorite played by Air Kwillian around Altuar.
This isn't a knife of air, it's more like being hit really hard with a dodgeball or kickball! This means while capable of dazing a Kwillian or knocking them over, this blast of air isn't deadly. It has enough force to knock over a Kwillian and send them a few feet, but not beyond that. This ability also requires the user to be able to swing their arm as if punching to perform, the more force behind the swing the harder the blast of wind.
Win arguements with ease by simply being louder then others.
This ability has plenty of uses. Most Kwillian use this ability to project their voice across a crowd or effectively whisper into a friend's ear. It can also be used if calling for someone lost, or even to emit deafening screeches to frighten off predators!
The volume of the Kwillians voice is still the same to the user of the ability, meaning those who emit deafening screams can hear that scream themselves, right from the source! This can lead to Kwillian becoming partially deaf from their own screams if they do it too often. This Ability also depends on the volume of a Kwillian in general! Loud Kwillian can yell louder than your typical normal volume talker, and mute Kwillian still can't talk using this ability.
